Where career and calling collide...

At Liberty Hill, we believe the sweet spot is where purpose and profession meet. We’re a team that works hard, laughs often, and cares deeply about making a difference through the local church. If you’re looking for more than just a job, we’d love to connect with you.

Student Pastor - The Hub Student Ministry

Full Time
The Student Pastor at Liberty Hill Church leads “The Hub,” Liberty Hill Church’s student ministry for grades 6–12, by creating environments where students learn to KNOW Jesus, WALK with Jesus, BELONG to Jesus’ people, LIVE on mission, and LEAD others to do the same. We call these our “Top 5” in Student Ministry. These are the outcomes we hope to see as students grow in their faith, build meaningful relationships, and take their next steps as disciples. The Student Pastor should develop volunteer leaders, partner with parents, and build the ministry systems and leadership capacity needed for long-term health and future growth of The Hub Student Ministry.

Hilltop Kids - Support Staff

Part Time
The Hilltop Kids Support Staff member helps create safe, organized, and engaging environments where kids can take their next steps in following Jesus. By preparing classrooms, organizing curriculum and supplies, supporting volunteers, and assisting with ministry communication and events, this role helps Hilltop Kids run smoothly and effectively each week. Working closely with the Hilltop Kids Director, this team member provides consistent, hands-on support that equips volunteers, serves families, and helps our kids ministry grow.

Our Leadership Culture

Integrity over influence
  • We value honesty over appearances—we’d rather be real than impressive.
  • We build trust through truth. What we say privately matches what we live publicly.
Scripture - Proverbs 10:9 - "People with integrity walk safely, but those who follow crooked paths will be exposed."
Attitude of gratitude
  • We get to serve Jesus and church vocationally. What an honor and a blessing!
  • Ministry comes with its challenges. The best way to overcome these challenges is to remain grateful.
  • Whether big or small, WHATEVER we do, we do it in the name of the Lord Jesus with a grateful heart.
Scripture - Colossians 3:17 - "And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him."
We collaborate, not isolate
  • We share ideas, resources, and wins because what helps one part of the body helps the whole.
Scripture - Romans 12:4-5 - "Just as our bodies have many parts and each part has a special function, so it is with Christ’s body. We are many parts of one body, and we all belong to each other."
Work Hard, Play Hard
  • Joy and laughter are essential parts of teamwork and ministry. They are a gift from God.
  • We celebrate wins, encourage one another, and create space to recharge through fun.
Scripture - Ecclesiastes 3:12-13 - "So I concluded there is nothing better than to be happy and enjoy ourselves as long as we can. And people should eat and drink and enjoy the fruits of their labor, for these are gifts from God."
It's not about me
  • We lead with humility, always putting the mission and the team before personal preference or ego.
  • We celebrate others, serve wherever we're needed, and stay focused on what’s best for the church, not just our ministry.
  • I pray often for a "righteous ambition." Ambition is never hard for me to come by, but I need the Holy Spirit to guide my ambition.
Scripture - Philippians 2:3-4 - "Don’t be selfish; don’t try to impress others. Be humble, thinking of others as better than yourselves. Don’t look out only for your own interests, but take an interest in others, too."
Finish the 5%
  • We don’t stop at “good enough.” We pursue excellence by finishing the details others overlook.
  • The last 5% separates average from excellent—so we go the extra mile, every time.
Scripture - Luke 16:10 - “If you are faithful in little things, you will be faithful in large ones."
We go first
  • We don't just cast vision - we model it. Our church will go where we lead it, and it will never go where we are unwilling to go first.
  • We set the tone through example. We lead the way in worship, prayer, spiritual formation, etc...
Scripture - 1 Peter 5:2-3 - Care for the flock that God has entrusted to you. Watch over it willingly, not grudgingly—not for what you will get out of it, but because you are eager to serve God. 3 Don’t lord it over the people assigned to your care, but lead them by your own good example.
Trust first, talk fast
  • We believe the best about each other before assuming the worst. Trust is our default posture. In order to be trusted, you have to be trustworthy. This means being approachable when you may have offended someone, whether you meant to or not.
  • We don’t let conflict linger. When issues arise, we follow Jesus’ model by addressing them quickly and directly, face-to-face, and always with the goal of restoration.
Scripture
Colossians 3:13 - 13 Make allowance for each other’s faults, and forgive anyone who offends you. Remember, the Lord forgave you, so you must forgive others.
Matthew 18:15-16 – “15 “If another believer sins against you, go privately and point out the offense. If the other person listens and confesses it, you have won that person back. 16 But if you are unsuccessful, take one or two others with you and go back again…”
