STUDENT
MINISTRIES

The Hub

WHAT: “Student Driven Worship.”
WHY: Jesus says in Matthew 13:15 “For the hearts of these people are hardened, and their ears cannot hear, and they have closed their eyes–so their eyes cannot see, and their ears cannot hear, and their hearts cannot understand, and they cannot turn to me and let me heal them.”Jesus connects seeing and hearing to the heart’s ability to understand. Our goal is that students will understand the Gospel in their hearts. Because of this we gear our service toward making sure students see and hear the Gospel in a way that will lead their heart to understand.
WHEN: Wednesday at 6:30 PM

Small Groups

WHAT: “Discovering how God’s word matters in real life.”
WHY: 2 Timothy 3:16-17 “All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness,  that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work.”
Our small groups are where our students will learn that Scripture is our guide to life.
WHEN: Sundays at 9:30 AM

Open House

WHAT: “Reaching others by opening our Church.”
WHY: Jesus called Matthew to be his disciple in Matthew 9:9-10. “As Jesus went on from there, he saw a man named Matthew sitting at the tax collector’s booth. “Follow me,” he told him, and Matthew got up and followed him. While Jesus was having dinner at Matthew’s house, many tax collectors and sinners came and ate with him and his disciples.” Matthew wanted his lost friends to know Jesus. So he knew the best way to do that was to invite them over to his house for a meal.
WHEN: The first Sunday night of every month (Tentatively) 6-8 PM our church will host our students for food and fun.
