A new season of Fall Ministry begins this Wednesday, September 7. From 5:30 – 6:15 PM a meal of beef tacos or hot dogs will be available for those that are a little crunched for time, or for those that would like to spend some time with their church family. At 6:30 PM, all of our Children’s Ministry and Student Ministry options will be in full swing. Adults will have the opportunity to take part in one of these three Life Groups:

John: New Testament for Everyone (continued, led by Larry Batchelor, Room 203

N.T. Wright, a leading New Testament scholar and author of the New Testament for Everyone commentary series, has produced a series of Bible Study guides used for both personal and small group studies. These guides are designed to help you understand Scripture, including the background and cultural setting.

The Nine-to-Five Mission (Led by Chris Wunderlich, Room 201)

Statistics show that on average about one-third of our life is spent at work. That is a significant amount of time that God has a specific purpose for. In this Group, the focus will be on finding God’s guidance and purpose in our careers. We’ll dig into the Bible to see what God wants us to know about many workplace-specific issues that we face each day regarding calling, provision, wealth, poverty, economics, and ethics.

Financial Peace University (led by Pastor Joe Payne, Worship Center)

Financial Peace University is biblically-based curriculum with video teaching from Dave Ramsey that teaches people how to handle money God’s way. In this nine-week class, Dave and his teaching team will walk you through the basics of budgeting, dumping debt, planning for the future, and much more! Pre-registration is required, and the cost per household is $100. The kit includes workbook, audio copies of the lessons, online access to all tools and forms, and much more. The church will provide assistance to cover the cost for those with a need.

Come be a part of the experience!
