It’s easy for life to leave our souls empty. Strained by the demands of life and the stresses of daily challenges, we can easily find that our passion for life diminishes with each new pressure. A life of diminished passion is a life that leaves us feeling empty, with enthusiasm and joy existing only as memories.
“Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it” ( Proverbs 4:23). If everything in our life flows from our heart, what happens when our heart is emptied? One of the most vital choices we could ever make is the choice to take care of our soul, to make sure that our passion for God, for each other, and for life stays full to the brim. This Sunday at 10:30 AM I’ll be talking about “Reviving Your Passion,” and we’ll be exploring how to keep our soul filled to the brim with passion!
