If a person tells his life story, he will typically focus on the where-and-when points. Dates, places, experiences, and achievements are the main ingredients most of us would go to if we were pressed to tell our stories. But that’s only a small part of our story. In reality, our life is not what it looks like.

The physical, material side of our lives is what gets the attention. What we do, where we go, what we look like, what we accomplish are the things that often distinguish us and describe the unique things that make The Immaterial Lifeus who we are. But the real components of our lives are in the hidden, spiritual world of the heart. Long before we speak or act, we first think, dream, and plan. This process behind our words and actions is where the real story of our lives is taking place. Our lives are built in the hidden places of our soul, and then only partially revealed in the outer, physical places of our lives. This Sunday at Liberty Hill I’ll be talking about this hidden life of the soul as we explore “The Immaterial Life.” In a world where image seems to matter most, we want to instead focus on the most meaningful and valuable aspect of our lives, the soul.

Sunday School begins at 9:30 AM, and our Worship Service begins at 10:30 AM. Come experience it with us!
