Although we all won’t become foreign missionaries, every Christ-follower is a missionary. God calls each of us to be a living witness, carrying His grace and truth to those we encounter in our lives. By extension, that also means that every family has a God-given mission to fulfill. God certainly uses individuals, but God is a God of devoted relationships – and it begins with our family relationships. God delights in working in families and through families to carry out His purpose. This Sunday at Liberty Hill, guest speaker Jason Warren will talk about the idea of “Family on a Mission.” Jason is Pastor Phil’s nephew, and he and his family will soon be leaving for Saipan where they will be serving as missionaries. His message is part of our 2012 Family Life Series, and we hope you can be a part of it!

Sunday’s service will also mark the kick-off of our Vacation Bible School signups! VBS is a very big deal at Liberty Hill, and we’re looking forward to what Cheryl Parrish has in store for us this year!

Speaking of Sunday, we’re also looking forward to celebrating a baptism! God is good, and we’re thankful to worship and celebrate together! Come be a part of the excitement, and experience it for yourself!
